Defining Subscription List Parameters

In this step, you will have to Define the Subscription List Parameters such as the

  • List Field Key

  • Field Labels

  • Field Type

  • Field Analyzed

Lists Key Field

In the displayed table, you must select the List’s KeyField in the first column to designate the value that uniquely identifies each user in your list.

Field Labels

Define the Labels for each of the detected Fields inside of the List

Field Type

Define the types of values each of the detected Fields contain.

Select from a dropdown of Field Type options:

  • string

  • integer

  • double

  • date

Field Analyzed

The Analyzed column allows to index the information and when applying a filter the search process will be faster in comparison with those that are not indexed. It is very important to highlight that regular search process is fast enough. Having several columns as “index” will affect by slowing the insertion process like when adding new users to the list.

The recommendation is to leave unchecked unless necessary.

When the Analyze radio button is deactivated for a Field, the Segmentation for that Field will only be made using values that exactly match the Search Criteria Values.

Custom Subscription List Structures

SMS Broadcast Subscription List Structure

In order to properly create and manage a Campaign, the Subscription Lists must comply with the following structure:

  1. The first field in the list must be the mobile number

  2. The mobile number Field must ONLY contain numbers

  3. The mobile number must be unique

  4. Standard Date Format (view section for accepted types)

Note

If there are duplicates in the file, the registers will be overwritten.

Email Broadcast Subscription List Structure

A custom email subscription list works similar to an SMS list, but instead of having the mobile number in the first field/column, it is required in the email. Additional fields and information must comply with the structure previously explained.

Important to mention that the same subscription list can be used for SMS and email broadcast. The important part is to have either of the fields as “key” when creating the list.

Please refer to the following General CSV Guidelines for file structure:

General CSV Guidelines
  1. CSV is a delimited data format that has fields/columns separated by the comma character and records/rows terminated by newlines.

  2. All records should have the same number of fields, in the same order.

  3. Adjacent fields must be separated by a single comma.

  4. Any field may be quoted (that is, enclosed within double-quote characters).

  5. Some fields must be quoted, as fields with embedded commas, double-quote characters or each of the embedded double-quote characters Excel allows CSV export.

SMS-MO Customer Data Update

pdates to existing segmentation lists can be performed from MOs sent from users. In this way new information can be added to each telephone number that is registered into that specific subscription list or information for specific fields can be updated from the MO.

In order to add a field to an existing list, we should go from home to menu in the upper left corner

756712.jpg

After clicking on the Menu option go to Interactive campaigns and Keywords.
