When setting up a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) on the Digital Engagement Platform, you can choose between two different methods: Partner-Initiated Process and Embedded Signup.
Each process offers a different approach to account creation and onboarding, depending on your needs:
The Partner-Initiated Process is managed by our support team and is ideal for those who prefer assistance with the setup.
The Embedded Signup is a self-service option that allows you to create or link your WABA directly from our platform.
1. Partner-Initiated Process
In this method, Messangi creates your WABA on your behalf. You’ll need to:
Request the creation by submitting your Business Manager ID to our support team by opening a support ticket or contacting your Account Manager.
Once your request has been submitted, you will receive an email notification or support ticket confirming that the WABA creation invitation has been sent to your **Meta Business Suite account**.
Accept the Invitation in Meta Business Suite.
Once accepted, your WABA will be active and managed under your own Meta Business account.

2. Embedded Signup
This is a self-service method that allows you to create or connect your own WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) directly from our platform, without needing support assistance.
This is a self-service option where you:
Authenticating with Meta using your Facebook Business Manager account.
Creating or linking a WABA under your Meta Business account.
Filling in your business details, such as name, profile, category, and timezone.
Adding and verifying a phone number (sender) during the setup.
Once completed, your WABA will be fully linked to our platform.

⚠️ Important Considerations
Only one WABA can be assigned per space. This means that each space is limited to one active WABA at a time.
Note:
The method used to create your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) determines how phone numbers (senders) can be added:
- For WABAs created through the Partner-Initiated Process, phone numbers can be added and verified directly within the platform once the WABA is active.
- For accounts created via Embedded Signup, phone numbers must be added during the initial configuration. To add additional numbers later, the Embedded Signup flow must be repeated.
