When managing a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA), you may need to add one or more phone numbers (also known as senders) to communicate with customers via WhatsApp. Each number must be properly linked, verified, and assigned to a space before it can be used.
The method (Partner-Initiated Process | Embedded Signup) used to create your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) determines how phone numbers (channels) can be added:
For WABAs created through the Partner-Initiated Process, phone numbers can be added and verified directly within the platform once the WABA is verified.
If you require further assistance, please refer to our documentation site https://docs.messangi.com/
For accounts created via Embedded Signup, phone numbers must be added during the initial configuration. To add additional numbers later, the Embedded Signup flow must be repeated.
During the WhatsApp Embedded Sign-Up process, you can add up to 2 phone numbers (channels) while configuring your account if the WABA is not yet verified.
⚠️ Important Considerations
A phone number can only be active in one space at a time. If it’s already assigned elsewhere, it cannot be reused.
Regardless of the method chosen, once your WABA is verified, you can add up to 25 phone numbers.
